Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Round Table AI you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you represent a company, you confirm you have authority to bind the organization. If you do not agree, do not access the service.

2. The Service

Round Table AI provides a hosted web application that orchestrates conversations with multiple AI providers, plus related infrastructure (APIs, WebSocket streaming, and billing). We may update the service, add new features, or discontinue experimental functionality with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Each user must provide accurate contact information and keep credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials, including actions performed by invited teammates.

4. Plans & Billing

  • All plans are paid subscriptions billed through Stripe.
  • Basic and Pro plan prices are published on round-table.ai. Taxes may apply.
  • You authorize us (and Stripe) to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees.
  • Plan changes take effect immediately for upgrades and at the next renewal for downgrades unless stated otherwise.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly promised in writing.

5. Acceptable Use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal activity, no attempts to reverse engineer provider APIs, no sharing of malicious content, and no reselling of the service without permission. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

6. Customer Content

“Customer Content” means prompts, conversation history, agent configurations, and any files you upload. You retain ownership of Customer Content. You grant Round Table AI a limited license to store, process, and transmit the content solely to deliver the service, fulfill support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not train proprietary models on your data. Third-party AI providers receive only the content needed to fulfill the request.

7. Bug Reports & Diagnostics

  • Submitting an in-app bug report is optional. When you do, you authorize us to publish the report (including conversation snippets and any diagnostics you choose to include) to our public GitHub issue tracker so the engineering team can triage it.
  • If you opt to include encrypted provider request/response logs, you consent to our temporarily decrypting up to the last ten entries for that conversation solely to attach them to the GitHub issue. The decrypted payloads are not stored elsewhere and the encrypted originals expire after 30 days.
  • Do not submit bug reports that contain regulated or highly sensitive data. You remain responsible for ensuring that Customer Content included in a bug report does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

Round Table AI, including all software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by Round Table AI, Inc. No rights are granted other than those necessary to use the service under these Terms.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to protect confidential information with the same care used to protect their own confidential data and to use it only for the purpose of performing under these Terms. This obligation survives termination.

10. Security & Data Protection

Round Table AI maintains industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit/at rest, AWS WAF, dedicated VPC networks, Secrets Manager storage for API keys, and regular access reviews. Additional detail is available in the Security Overview.

11. Third-Party Services

The service relies on infrastructure and AI providers operated by AWS, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google, Stripe, and Plausible. Their terms govern your use of their APIs. We are not responsible for outages or changes introduced by third parties but will make reasonable efforts to mitigate impact.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay invoices, or pose a security risk. You may terminate at any time via the billing dashboard. Upon termination we will delete Customer Content within 60 days unless you request earlier deletion.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI PROVIDER OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS; ALWAYS REVIEW BEFORE ACTING.

14. Limitation of Liability

ROUND TABLE AI’S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Round Table AI harmless from liabilities arising out of your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue lies in San Francisco County, California.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
